RACE-GAS Case
Product Description
When blended to the proper ratio, RACE GASTM can take your ordinary pump gasoline and transform it into high octane, high energy, track grade racing fuel. RACE GASTM will keep you from ever running out of racing fuel.
In working with several chemists and our suppliers we came up with the blend that became RACE GASTM. When we had a third party laboratory run the ASTM D 2699 and 2700 tests, Race Gas blended with pump gas produced results as good as racing with regularly distilled 100 octane gasoline, See the test results. This blend will improve the quality of regular "pump gas" and make it suitable for racing - why? Because RACE GASTM adds back in the key elements of racing fuel - hydrocarbons, oxygenates, and organometallic compounds:
- Fuel Hydrocarbons: Fuel Hydrocarbons are compounds that contain both Carbon and Hydrogen that, when burned, produce water (H2O) or Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Saturated Hydrocarbons have a high octane rating and carry additional carbon atoms which produce more energy when burned. They also produce a synergistic effect when used with certain organometallic compounds to product higher octane ratings than if they are used by themselves.
- Oxygenates are one of the most misunderstood compounds in gasoline. While many have heard of the negative effects of oxygenates like Ethanol and Methanol not all oxygenates are created equal. Oxygenates play a very important role in high octane gasoline. Like the name suggests oxygenates add oxygen to gasoline. As we all know our engines need oxygen to burn fuel. By adding an oxygenate to RACE GASTM we are adding that crucial oxygen to the fuel which, in turn, allows the engine to burn fuel more completely thereby taking advantage of the additional carbon atoms added by the fuel hydrocarbons. The net result is more horsepower! The oxygenates that are used in Race Gas are not derived from alcohol like methanol and ethanol and therefor do not damage fuel system and engine components like these oxygenates do.
- Organometallic compounds are added to gasoline to increase the octane of the fuel. Up until recently Tetra Ethyl Lead was used in gasoline for this purpose. In addition lead was used as a lubricant on older engines that didn't have hardened valve seats. The problem with lead in gasoline, (other than the environmental effects), was the fact that scavenger compounds needed to be added to gas in order to keep the lead from creating deposits on pistons and cylinder heads. When the EPA banned lead in fuel refiners turned to other metallic compounds like Manganese, Iron, Nickel and Magnesium. All of these different compounds have their pros and cons. We believe that Manganese has the best overall effect on octane and the best synergistic effect with the other compounds in Race Gas. As a result Race Gas contains high quality Methylcyclopentadienyl Manganese Tricarbonyl or MMT.
Moreover, we know that RACE GASTM is safe for cars even under the most demanding conditions. We have burned RACE GASTM in everything from a 944 Turbo race car, a modified Audi TT, a Hemi Magnum, a Hemi Challenger, and modified VW R32, a Corvette and many other cars. All showed increases in power, throttle response and torque, (you can see the dyno test results of many of these cars on our test results page at www.race-gas.com).

#1, Running an A12 Super Bee (440 Six Pack), Lunati .292.Cam, 12:1 @ 37° Total timing on Non-Ethanol is best I can get where I live. Opening up all 6 still resulted in the dreaded "Pre-ignition" or spark knock, even if I retarded timing a degree or 3. Then only gave up power. No fun. Even at 50+ years old can't help but act 18 when I DO take out the ol Bee..Buddy of mine with an RS/SS 396 Camaro gave me a can of this one night, I had around 5-6 gallons left in the tank. WOW! NO MORE Spark Knock! Was just gone. Seemed like I just stuck a .305 cam in the thing. Had to have added at least 10/15 horsepower. I highly recommend this additive. Can't wait to try the ULTRA Race Gas! Seemed to "Blow out any Cobwebs" as well. Love it.

Race gas for Mastercraft wake boat

I have a 450 HP Master Craft wake bore boat that requires 89 octane fuel. I prefer to run ethanol free fuel to help keep the fuel system problems to a minimum during the off-season. As it is hard to find ethanol free (clear gas) from the pump in anything but 87 octane I have been using race gas to increase my octane levels to 90 octane.
This has produced good results and very noticeable at low end torque and power. Good Stuff!

It Works!

I have a 1956 BSA, A10 "Golden Flash" motorcycle, with the irin head replaced with an alloy, "Road Rocket" one. The head has been shaved too often in it's 62 years, and detonation has always been an issue, even with only 8.5/1 pistons. It is a dead chamber pure hemi design. A dose of Race Gas cured it immediately, it is so much fun now, being able to squeeze the throttle and zip along without the dreaded pinging, just like the old days.

I have 2016 Volvo Polestar. With 93 Octane I can still detect some knock and ping on a cold start. Using the Race Gas to raise my Octane to 97-98 took care of that problem completely. It is also quicker, faster and gets much better gas millage. I highly recommend this product as your first tweak.

I only raised my octane level a few points, just to be safe when I relocated my factory knock sensor on my stock motor. Motor seemed really happy!

received case full in perfect condition , i give 4 stars for the cap, cap was a bit of a pain to open but nothing a channel lock cant fix , i can say that i definitely notice more response from my motor usable power kicks in a lot quicker and with less lag on response time , i also can now run more aggressive timing without fear of pre-detonation/ignition , my reason for buying race-gas was the cost of drumed race fuel was not cheap along with hazmat shipping and race fuel is not easy to come by where i live and if i did get my hands on race fuel it wont be cheap and i race only 5 time a year depending on weather and event coordinator

it pulls hard and smooth. GREAT price and no need to worry about finding a Race pump gas or e85

This the second time used race gas and it works like they said. I used if a track day and it was hot out. Made car run like it should , smooth with no missing or mid fires. I will be using race has at the track for now on. And will let more people know this stuff works.

Every time I run race-gas i can feel the difference and hear it as well. My muscle car idles nicely and pulls harder and faster on the street. I will continue to feed my car race gas every time I fill her up. I recommend this product to anyone who wants clean performance in an unleaded vehicle.

I just received my 3rd order of RACE GAS. RACE GAS is for real. It makes my 533 CI BBC run like it is supposed to. Just add a can to the tank and drive. AWESOME product. I tell everyone to buy RACE GAS, it really works.

I could tell the difference as soon as I drove out of my driveway. Crisper throttle, idles better and runs smoother. My BBC makes alot more torque, you can feel the torque in the seat of your pants. Thanks to all at Race Gas, this is a great product.
